Write for us

United Food Culture welcomes considered pitches about food culture, kitchen craft, ingredients, food history and the customs that gather around a meal. A strong proposal gives readers a clear idea to follow and respects the variety of food traditions.

What to pitch

We are interested in original, evergreen stories that explain a process, compare meaningful options, explore a food custom or trace the background of an ingredient or practice. Keep the subject focused enough to handle clearly, and tell us what a general reader will understand or notice by the end.

What makes a strong proposal

Send a working title, a short outline, the central point of the piece and a note about why it suits United Food Culture. Mention any sources or relevant experience that support the proposal, without overstating what they establish. We do not need a complete draft to consider an idea.

How to send it

Please send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial enquiry option. Include your name and a way to reply. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; we will consider fit, clarity, originality and the care the subject requires.
