Editorial policy
United Food Culture aims to make food culture clear, careful and worth returning to. Our standards apply to editorial articles and to any material presented alongside them.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and take care with names, dates, terminology and cultural context. Where accounts differ or a point is uncertain, we say so rather than smoothing away the distinction. Our articles are general editorial content, not a substitute for professional food-safety advice.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Paid placements, sponsored material and partner contributions are labelled clearly so readers can tell what they are reading. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Corrections and updates
If a reader spots a possible error, they can contact us with the relevant article and detail. We review credible correction requests, amend material when warranted and make significant changes clear to readers. We may also update an article when context or a factual detail needs attention.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. When that is the case, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present them as documentary photographs of real food, people or events.
